wpPostGen provides powerful and flexible Data Mapping which allows users to easily sync imported data with the correct WordPress database columns.

• Randomize imported lines prior to creating your WordPress Posts.
• Supports pipe, comma, tab and semicolon delimited CSV files.
• Generate regular posts as well as pages and other custom post types.
• Use existing import data mappings to choose the same column relationships defined in previous imports.
• Require specific column data to skip lines / rows in your import file if left empty.
• Leave column relationships blank to skip / ignore that column's data from being imported.
• Wrap column data during import by specifying before / after text that will prepend / append for each post.

Realize that you ran the import incorrectly or encountered errors? wpPostGen keeps track of the posts generated during an import so if any errors are encountered or you are unhappy with how the data was imported, you can easily remove all posts related to that specific import.

wpPostGen provides the ability to define custom theme mappings. This provides a simple way to always ensure the right data mappings are setup for your theme.

A custom theme map is already provided for the free wpPostGen tube theme. To define your own theme mappings, please refer to the README with your purchase of wpPostGen.

wpPostGen leverages jQuery / AJAX / PHP / MySQL technologies to provide an enhanced user-interface. Also, it provides a multi-stage import procedure that greatly reduces PHP script execution timeouts from occurring when dealing with large files.

• Assign labels to your imports so you can easily identify them at a later time.
• Utilizes Media Library to store your CSV file so you can keep your uploaded WordPress files in one area.

Does your theme have built-in support for playing video files? If not, wpPostGen has a built in FLV Player widget that you can select in the column relationships that will output the embed code for you.

This widget should only be used when your import file provides a URL to the video file. If your import file already contains embed code, ignore the use of this widget and only define your column relationship as you would any other data.

If you desire more control over the FLV player itself, you may find the embed code generation function in wpPostGen and modify accordingly. However, proceed at your own risk.

Worried about duplicate content? wpPostGen has a built in word replacement tool. You can create word / phrase replacement lists that contain keywords / phrases that will be replaced during the import process.

Automatic tag generation for posts using part-of-speech tagging to ensure more relevant words are used. You can also specify custom user-defined tags that will be applied to each post in the import file.

In addition to tag generation, wpPostGen provides category generation for posts when included as column in the import file (uses single word or comma separated list of categories).

wpPostGen allows you to schedule posts at set intervals in the past, present and future.

Aside from the data being imported, wpPostGen allows you to specify customized / user-defined data elements that will be attached to the posts created during import.
